Highway Hotline: Poor visibility on Christmas Day

Please check the Highway Hotline before heading out.

MOOSE JAW — Although no areas remain under Environment Canada snowfall warnings or blowing snow advisories, some highways are experiencing zero visibility at times.

The highways in the Yorkton, Melville, Esterhazy, Kamsack, Preeceville, Canora and Carlyle areas are designated "winter driving conditions" by the Highway Hotline, but also show poor visibility. Please check the Highway Hotline before heading out.

Roads south of Moose Jaw, Swift Current and Regina, including highways through Weyburn and Assiniboia, were not recommended for travel due to visibility this morning, and parts of the TransCanada had been closed either side of Moose Jaw this morning.
