Students from the Preeceville and Sturgis Schools were treated to a presentation from Dan Clark, a Saskatchewan Roughrider, in Preeceville on February 25.

He spoke about bullying, including personal experiences of being bullied when he was younger. He drove home the point that bullying is not acceptable in any form and that include verbal, physical and cyber bullying, and that everyone has a voice in a bullying situation.

"The target or victim needs to speak up and tell someone that he or she is being bullied. Bystanders also need to speak up and stop bullying and not just turn a blind eye," Clark said. "The bully also needs to be addressed to find out what factors might be causing this behaviour."

He challenged students to think of ways they can make their schools a better place for everyone.
