There was a good turnout for the Performing Arts and Leisure Services (PALS) potluck supper on September 29.

            There was a good turnout for the Performing Arts and Leisure Services (PALS) potluck supper on September 29. Entertainment for the evening was Don Kulcsar and Nelson Bramley of Ebenezer, Bill Storas, Darlene Storas, Gene McKenzie and Marilyn Fredskurg of Wynyard, Judy Johnson of Preeceville, Stojan Christow of Rama and Russ Baldwin of Yorkton. Wayne Squire was the 50/50 winner and Jerry Wionzek won a free supper.

            Bingo winners at the Golden Jets centre on October 2 were Janet Yasinski (two), Joe Kowalyshen (three), Mary Kowalyshen (three), Ed Yasinski, Elaine Olson and Donna Pasloski. The bingo caller for the afternoon was Adolph Wolkowski and lunch was provided by Elaine Mitchell. Bingo games are played on the first and third Sundays of every month.

            At the PALS October 7 get-together, the 50/50 winner was Lisa Pasloski and Wayne Squire won a free coffee.

            Marcella Shewchuk was a winner of one of many ticket prizes drawn at the Invermay Health Centre at the October 8 Thanksgiving lunch. Shewchuk won a pair of solar lights. Margaret Pasloski of Yorkton and formerly of Rama won the grand prize of $250.

            Anthony Swiderski of Edmonton visited with Louy and Elaine Swiderski of Rama.

            The top three Kaiser teams on October 11 were Michael Swetleshnoff and Violet Wilcocks, first place; Nick Woloshuk and Liz Okrainetz, second place; and Ed Brezinski and Mary Kowalyshen, third place.
