Marilyn Ann Fredsberg, a favourite entertainer at PALS Friday night supper and jam sessions, was the 50/50 winner on November 11. Louy Swiderski was the winner of the free coffee.

Steve and Liz Barteski had the $100,000 Second Touchdown ticket in the 2016 Friends of the Riders Touchdown Lottery. A Bose Wave AM/FM Radio was won by Darrell Dutchak and Dana Jack won a Bose Ear headphone set. Congratulations to all the winners!

Flu season is coming up, so it's a good time to start reminders to practice cough and cold etiquette. Over 30 people attended the influenza immunization clinic at the Golden Jets Centre on November 8.

To make everything go along smoothly, it was good to have Nancy Landstad-Genoway volunteer to help process everyone. A clinic in the area was to be held at Invermay School on November 21 and was to be open to the public. The vaccine is provided free of charge.

At the November 9 meeting at the Rama village office, a recreation board committee was selected. A discussion regarding the revitalization of the park is the main focus of the committee.

The recreation board will focus on organizing events for everyone to participate in or just come out and enjoy. Anyone who is interested in promoting and getting involved should feel free to contact or join the recreation board. Meetings are informal and held monthly. Committee members are Evan Matsalla, Christa Swiderski, Keyla Karcha, Donna Pasloski, and Aaron Halifax.
