Although the sun was shining brightly at Kamsack on November 16, and there still was no snow on the ground, Darcy Green, high up in a cherry picker, fastened a holiday candle ornament on a light standard on main street. It is one of the many colourful decorations that town staff had placed in the business section of the community. They will help provide a Christmas appearance to the snowless landscape in advance of the community’s annual Christmas in November sale of crafts and home-based business products that was held on the weekend, and will prepare everyone for the visit of Santa Claus who will be the featured guest tomorrow (Friday) at the annual Moonlight Madness parade.
