Kamsack Arts Council to present magic show at Playhouse

Witness the dynamic and mind-blowing magic show that has entertained and amazed audiences across the globe.

Chris Funk’s magic show, billed as “Chris Funk The Wonderist” will be in Kamsack at the Playhouse on November 2, presenting an engaging and visceral experience that will have audiences talking for years to come,” said information in a release from the Kamsack Arts Council.

“Something that can only be described as ‘refreshingly different,’ the live-feed camera and interactive videos bring audiences up onstage and into the action, delivering a show that everyone can call their own.”

Funk has designed a show that truly encourages audience members to discover “wonder”, while laughing, smiling, gasping with amazement and experiencing a “child-like sense of awe,” all along the way, the release continued. Presenting a violin concerto and a guitar loop recorded live onstage has put this show into a league of its own.

Funk has received rave reviews when he has performed his incredible comedy magic thousands of times across the country, the information continued.

“Chris engages the audience with his quick wit, dry humour and amazing talent. Comments like: ‘How did he do that?’ tells it all. He truly is the master of magic," ​said Bayer Crop Science of Funk’s performance.

Funk has spent the last 15 years traveling the world, performing for theatres, cruise ships and TV. His unique approach to magic has garnered him performances at Las Vegas’ Planet Hollywood, Hollywood’s World-Famous Magic Castle as well as on Disney Cruise Lines, and his show has garnered standing ovations and a reputation for excellence, the information concluded.
