Kamsack Library to begin game afternoon on Saturdays

This collection of games includes card games, chess, checkers, a cribbage board and other popular board games including Battleship, Sorry and the Trouble Game.

KAMSACK — The Kamsack Library is launching a new program on Saturday afternoons being called the library’s game afternoon and the first session is this Saturday.

Nicole Larson, the librarian, said that with the RM of Cote’s Sask Lotteries grant, the libarary’s board was able to purchase a large number of new board games that will be available for use during the game afternoons.

This collection of games includes card games, chess, checkers, a cribbage board and other popular board games including Battleship, Sorry and the Trouble Game.

These are games for all people of all ages, Larson said. They’re new and exciting and it’s free.

“Come alone to play with someone, or bring someone with you,” she said.
