Congratulations on being a part of Saskatchewan’s Small Business community. Year after year, small business owners open their doors daily to us, the consumers, in order to provide goods and services we require.
At times there may those who take things for granted and fail to appreciate the role of small businesses, particularly those right here at home.
When we approach businesses, we expect a lot of things from them. We expect them to be open. We expect them to have staff to serve us. We expect them to have the product available that we might be wanting to purchase. We expect them to able to repair what might be broken. And, we expect all this to be “right now.”
As likely as not, we probably have not given much thought into what the business owner must do (much of it behind the scenes) to try and make this all happen.
Running a business is not just unlocking the doors each day, allowing customers in to spend their money.
Most of us don’t know just how much work goes into running a small business.
So, during this week of celebrating Small Business Week, on behalf of the Town of Kamsack, we want to say thank you, congratulations, and good luck!
