The Kelvington 4-H Beef Club held its monthly meeting December 11, followed by a curling Christmas party and a potluck supper at the Kelvington curling rink.

"During the meeting we discussed upcoming events such as regional curling, public speaking, the calf tour and our club’s constitution," said Blake Zagrodney, club reporter. "We had time to break into our project groups and work on record books.

"It was time to hit the ice and everyone got to throw some rocks and practice sweeping while the senior members had a game against the adults," he said.

"After curling, everyone enjoyed a delicious potluck supper,” Zagrodney said. “Our next meeting will be held January 2 at the Kelvington curling rink.

“Merry Christmas to everyone from the Kelvington 4-H Beef Club and see you in the New Year.”
