On October 2, 2019 at 0618 hrs, Maidstone RCMP attended to a scene of a two vehicle collision on Highway 17 approximately 5 miles south of the city of Lloydminster.
A East bound half ton GMC truck collided with a south bound 5 ton Commercial box truck.
EMS arrived on scene and transported the driver of the GMC truck, who was a single occupant, to Lloydminster hospital.
The 21 year old male was then transported by STARS to Saskatoon where he was pronounced deceased. The driver of the 5 ton was not injured.
RCMP Collision Recontructionists were on scene. There are no charges pending.
The name of the deceased will not be released.
