A 19-year-old Yorkton man has been charged with dangerous driving causing death in a September 24, 2016 collision that claimed the lives of two others.

On that Saturday, late in the afternoon, a vehicle southbound on Hwy 10 collided head on with a northbound vehicle. The passenger in the southbound car, 17-year-old Jordan Stoll and the lone occupant of the other car, 29-year-old Tyler Dobko were killed in the crash.

In a press release issued Thursday RCMP said only that the unnamed driver, who himself spent significant time in hospital in Regina with serious injuries, faces two counts of dangerous driving causing death.

His first court appearance is scheduled for April 10 in Yorkton.
