Man defrauds Saskatoon car dealership of inventory

Saskatoon Police Service says its fraud unit has arrested a man after a lengthy investigation.

SASKATOON — A 47-year-old man was arrested March 2 after investigators found he had defrauded a car dealership of $250,000 worth of inventory, while employed there between 2015 and 2018.

Saskatoon Police Service says its fraud unit arrested the man after a lengthy investigation.

The Saskatoon Police Service Economic Crime Section has issued a thank you to members of the public who provided information during this investigation.

The 47-year-old man faces charges of fraud over $5,000 and theft over $5,000. He has been released on an undertaking and is scheduled to attend court on April 20.
