Man facing 7 sexual assault charges while acting as healer appears in Saskatoon court

Police believe there could be more victims from the last 20 years in Blaine Lake, Loon Lake, Muskeg Lake Cree Nation, Saskatoon and surrounding areas

SASKATOON – A man who allegedly sexually assaulted numerous victims while acting as a healer had an appearance in Saskatoon court.

Cecil Wolfe, 60, is facing seven counts of sexual assault and made his second court appearance on Jan. 17. His matter was adjourned to Feb. 16 when he is expected to elect how he wants to be tried.

Saskatoon Police laid the first charge in September and the RCMP laid six additional charges in December for incidents in Loon Lake and Muskeg Lake Cree Nation. Police believe there could be additional victims from the last 20 years in Blaine Lake, Loon Lake, Muskeg Lake Cree Nation, Saskatoon and surrounding areas.

The police investigation remains active and anyone with additional information is asked to contact the RCMP or Saskatoon Police. Police didn’t have an available photo of Wolfe.
