March was a busy month for LTC residents

The month of March was busy for the residents of the long-term care wing of the Preeceville Health Centre. There were many activities and events hosted by many volunteer helpers.

            The month of March was busy for the residents of the long-term care wing of the Preeceville Health Centre. There were many activities and events hosted by many volunteer helpers.

            The activities began with a nail salon day, followed by a tea and chat, and a discussion group on topics such as St. Patrick's Day and Easter.

            Musical entertainment was provided by Eugene and Ross, Mike and company, Willie and Company, Butch and Pina and Family, the Mennonite Youth Choir and Orville and Company.

            Ivy Peterson who is a resident, celebrated her 100th birthday.

            Other regular activities included mental aerobics, walking program, breakfast club, bingo, bowling, and morning games.

            Weekly church services were led by members of the Preeceville and District Ministerial Association.

            The monthly birthday party was hosted by the Endeavour Anglican women.
