On August 24, 2019 at approximately 5:52am, the Meadow Lake RCMP received multiple reports of shots fired in the Clark Crescent area of the City.
Police responded and found that a residence had been shot and a Break and Enter also occurred.
The home owners were not home at the time and there were no injuries sustained.
Police located a suspect vehicle involved in the shooting and subsequently arrested two adult males and one male youth.
Andrew Lachance and Jacob Lachance have both been charged with discharging a firearm with intent, Sec 244 C.C., Break and Enter Sec 348(1)(a), using a firearm during an offence Sec 85(1)(a). The youth is facing the same charges but will not be named at this time as per the Youth Criminal Justice Act. They will appear in Court on Monday, August 26, 2019.
