New administrator for Town of Preeceville

Shirley Jackson of Saskatoon began working as the acting administrator for the Town of Preeceville on January 4. She is on contract filling in for a 12-month maternity leave for Lorelei Karcha.

Shirley Jackson of Saskatoon began working as the acting administrator for the Town of Preeceville on January 4. She is on contract filling in for a 12-month maternity leave for Lorelei Karcha.

            Jackson has over 25 years experience in the administration field. She obtained her bachelor of commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan and has worked for the Town of Kinistino for 23 years as the administrator. She retired in 2009 but came out of retirement for a contract position in Kinistino and also was on contract for one year to cover a maternity leave position in Dinsmore.

            In her career she also worked in the accounting department of Revenue Canada and worked for 10 years in the Farm Credit department.

            She is currently living in Preeceville during the week and travels back to Saskatoon on weekends.
