Every year, a spotlight is shone on the people who work to make the town of Outlook a better place to live with the annual Community Appreciation Awards.
The yearly event is presented by the Outlook & District Chamber of Commerce and The Outlook newspaper, and as of now, the call for nominations is going out to anyone who may know of a specific citizen, youth, business or event that is deserving of one of the prestigious awards.
The award categories include the Jim Kook Citizen of the Year, Business of the Year, Youth of the Year, and the Community Event of the Year.
Nomination forms can be picked up at Outlook Printers, AG Foods, A&E Enterprises, and the Co-op Marketplace. The forms must be submitted on or before March 10.
The award recipients will be honored with a banquet to be held at the Outlook Civic Centre on Friday, March 31.
