Nutrien Playland opens for the season on Sunday

SASKATOON — Nutrien Playland at Kinsmen Park, located at 945 Spadina Crescent East, is set to reopen for the season on Sunday, May 14. The park will be open daily until Sept. 5, 2023.

The hours of operation until June 30 are Monday to Friday from 2:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and Holidays: 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The park will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. from July to Sept. 5.

Admission to the park is $2.90 for a single ticket and $29.00 for a play pack of 12 tickets. One ticket per ride is required for the Canpotex train, Ferris wheel, and carousel. Children under two years of age ride for free, and a paying adult must accompany children under six.

The children's play area is free to enjoy and includes water spray features, sand play, and a climbing area. The spray pad will open on June 1, 2023, and operate daily from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Nutrien Playland also offers opportunities to host birthday parties or corporate events during the daytime or after hours. Schools and daycares can avail themselves of affordable rental options. Visit saskatoon.ca/playlandparties for all the details and to book now.

In addition, Nutrien Playland will host a colouring contest for youth ages 12 and under, with colouring pages available for pickup at the ticket kiosk or online at saskatoon.ca/nutrienplayland. The entries will be displayed in the train station, and the draws for a play pack will occur on May 31, June 30, July 31 and Aug. 31.
