October trade show displayed something for everyone

Held on October 7, which was during Fire Prevention Week, the October trade show at the Preeceville Community Hall focused on fire prevention and safety. The Preeceville Volunteer Fire Department sponsored the event with 36 vendors in attendance.

            Held on October 7, which was during Fire Prevention Week, the October trade show at the Preeceville Community Hall focused on fire prevention and safety.

            The Preeceville Volunteer Fire Department sponsored the event with 36 vendors in attendance.

            Preeceville Fire Department fire chief was in attendance, encouraging the public to practice fire safety in their own homes. Raffle tickets were sold on a variety of items.

            The Family Resource Centre provided and organized children's games and activities.

            The Preeceville Harvard Air cadets helped vendors carrying their products, in and out and sold car raffle tickets.

            The kitchen was open through the event offering soup, sandwiches, dainties and coffee.
