Pats conclude season with three banner wins

The Preeceville Pats minor hockey teams concluded the season with three teams, the midgets, peewees and atoms, bringing home their league banners. The midgets won the B-side banner in front of a home crowd on March 20.

            The midgets won the B-side banner in front of a home crowd on March 20. The peewees were crowned the A-side champions in Canora on March 17 and the atoms won the A banner at home on March 22.

            The novice and IP teams were not in the league but played against other team when games could be arranged. The novice team concluded its season on March 16 with a 6-3 loss against the Sunflower Colts. Scoring goals were Trae Peterson and Avyn Seerey (two goals).

            The bantams played their last game in Preeceville on March 9. It ended up being a 4-3 loss against Yorkton. Tyler Kopeck scored the first goal, assisted by Peyton Shewchuk and Cody Hort scored the other two goals, assisted by Dawson Paul.
