A cheque for $12,500 was presented by the Pioneer Grain company to the Kamsack Volunteer Fire Department on January 5. The money is to go towards the firefighters’ purchase of rescue equipment. With the oversized cheque, from left, were: Ed van Parys, Rose Boughton, Ken Thompson, Jack Blaht, Ryan Lambert, Karleigh Lambert, Darcy Green, Bruce Thomsen, Dillon Chernoff, Kristin Johnson, Jim Pollock (fire chief), Kamsack Mayor Nancy Brunt and Dave Hoffert.
