Preeceville minor ball looks forward to dusting off the cleats

Avid ball players are getting excited to hit the field for another ball season in Preeceville.

PREECEVILLE — The Preeceville Minor Ball association are very encouraged by the high number of players that are signed up to play ball this year.

"We currently have approximately 105 kids registered for ball,” said Lisa Moekerk, club representative. Ball practice and games are scheduled to kick off as soon as the ball fields are dry enough with practices held every Monday and Wednesday and Tuesday and Thursday. Teams will alternate the days. All practices and home games will be held at the Preeceville Sports Grounds.

“We have T-ball to U18 baseball teams and a U15 and U 17 girls' softball teams,” Moekerk said.

The all-girls U15 softball team will be coached by Shannon Nelson and the all-girls U17 team will be coached by Sherri Masko.
