On February 28, 2020, Prince Albert General Investigation Section (GIS) and Creighton RCMP executed a search warrant in a residence in Creighton, SK.
The search warrant resulted in the seizure of the following items:
· 13 non-restricted firearms,
· Two prohibited firearms,
· Several hundred rounds of ammunition,
· Two explosive detonator cords,
· One conducted energy weapon,
· Three prohibited knives,
· One home-made firearm suppressor,
· Electronic devices, some of which include a computer and two cell-phones.
Jacob Christianson (DOB: 1989-07-04) was arrested and charged with multiple firearms and weapons-related offences including the unauthorized importation of a prohibited device, possession of prohibited firearms, possession of prohibited weapons, possession of a prohibited firearm with ammunition accessible and careless storage of a firearm.
Christianson was released on an undertaking with conditions to appear in Creighton Provincial Court on April 14, 2020.
The investigation is ongoing.
