The hometown favourites cemented their place in history and claimed the CEBL Championship Trophy in front of a packed house at SaskTel Centre following a 94-83 victory over the fourth-seeded Hamilton Honey Badgers.
Player of the Game, Alex Campbell, recorded a team-high 20 points, 11 rebounds and two assists in a standout performance in the deciding game of the CEBL's inaugural Championship Weekend.
