The Canora RCMP plans to work with local businesses, agencies, groups and rural municipality officials to implement prevention measures to address concerns of potential crime.
Cst. Miles Kelly, along with Cpl. Trevor Shea and Sgt. Greg Smith of the Canora/Sturgis RCMP detachment, made the offer last week to provide presentations to discuss how preventative measures can work to reduce rural break-and-enters, thefts, mischiefs (vandalism) and common frauds.
Anyone interested in this course of action is asked to contact Cst. Kelly at the Canora RCMP detachment office to obtain more information.
