The Outlook RCMP is investigating an incident involving trespassers on local farmland that took place over the Christmas holidays.
Sgt. Mark Langager shared that there was one farmyard in the RM of Fertile Valley where a vehicle containing some unwanted guests had entered the premises. Upon seeing them, the property owner chased off the suspicious vehicle. It was determined that these people were driving a stolen vehicle that had been taken from the Delisle area. The vehicle was seen in Outlook and on Highway 11 before it was found abandoned in Moose Jaw.
Sgt. Langager said that this particular incident was the only one like that in the local area, and that a few different RCMP detachments, including Outlook and the Moose Jaw City Police, are investigating to try and determine the identity of the people who were seen driving the stolen vehicle.
