On June 16, 2020 an eastbound vehicle was stopped on Highway #16 near Maidstone for a driver's licence, registration and sobriety check.
A subsequent search of the vehicle occurred and one kilogram of cocaine was located.
28-year-old Amanda Casella Buyco from Edmonton, AB was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking contrary to Section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
Casella Buyco will appear in court August 25th, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. in Lloydminster.
