Saskatoon: Mobile home catches fire

No one was injured during this incident with the damage estimated at 200,000 dollars.

What was left of the mobile home in the 200 block of Grant Street after firefighters put out the blaze late Monday night, Aug. 29.

SASKATOON — The Saskatoon Fire Department responded to a mobile home fire in the 200 block of Grant Street on Monday evening, Aug. 29.

The report stated that dark grey smoke was coming out from the mobile home.

Three engines, a ladder truck, one rescue unit and the battalion chief were dispatched with the first arriving fire crews seeing a mobile home fully involved.

The fire crew began extinguishing the flames and a search of the interior was conducted with no one found within the residence.

The fire was brought under control at 9:07 p.m.

An SFD fire investigator was requested to perform a fire cause and origin scene examination.

The fire is still under investigation, and the cause has not yet been determined.

No one was injured during this incident with the damage estimated at $200,000.
