Saskatoon police looking for witness to fatal collision

Police are looking for a witness to a collision that claimed the life of a 22-year-old woman.

SASKATOON - The Saskatoon Police Service Collision Analyst Unit continues to investigate a fatal collision from Aug. 31, at the intersection of Highway 41 and Highway 5. 

Investigators would like to speak to the operator and/or occupants of a truck pulling a recreational trailer that was stopped in the westbound left turn lane of Highway 5 when the collision occurred. This vehicle was not involved in the collision but the driver may have witnessed it and may be able to provide investigators with important information.

On Aug. 31, at approximately 1:46 p.m., police received a call regarding a collision involving a semi-trailer and a car. The driver of the car, a 22-year-old woman, was pronounced deceased on scene. Her next-of-kin have been notified. The driver of the semi-trailer was uninjured.
