SASKATOON - Shanice Cook is feline fine after she took home $100,000 on her Meow Meow instant scratch ticket.

She purchased her ticket from Shoppers Drug Mart at 20-2410 22nd St. in Saskatoon on Feb. 28 and discovered her win shortly after.

“I only scratched the barcode and scanned the ticket using the app,” she recalled as she claimed her prize. “I felt the shock go through my whole body.”

Just to be paws-itive she won, Cook scanned her ticket ten times to confirm what she was seeing.

“I had to show someone!” she said. “I called my mom and told her to come pinch me because I thought I was dreaming.”

“I still feel like I’m going to wake up tomorrow and none of this will be real,” she added. “It’s crazy!”

The excited Saskatoon winner has a couple ideas in mind for her windfall.

“I’m going to pay some bills and put some away for my children,” she said.
