Will Saskatoon’s Urgent Care Centre ease hospital pressure?

SASKATOON — The province says the new Urgent Care Centre, now 25 per cent complete, will help reduce overcrowding at St. Paul’s Hospital when it opens in fall 2026. Located three blocks away, the centre will treat non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries, with a separate intake for mental health and addictions support. Officials believe its proximity will make it a valuable alternative for west side residents needing care.
