SASKATOON — Carol-Ann Neufeldt didn’t believe her eyes when she checked her LOTTO MAX ticket and discovered she won $100,000 on the Jan. 21 EXTRA draw.

“I scanned my ticket on the Lotto Spot app,” she said. “$100,000 and two Free Plays came up on the screen, but for some reason I thought I had won the two Free Plays and the chance to win $100,000.”

“Later in the day, I went grocery shopping and scanned the ticket in-store,” she continued. “The store clerk told me I had won $100,000 and the two Free Plays – I couldn’t believe it!"

The winner said she hasn’t made any big plans for her winnings yet, but she does have a couple of ideas to get her started.

“I would like to pay off some debt,” said Neufeldt. “After that, I don’t know.”

“Honestly, I never thought I would actually be in this position,” she said.

Neufeldt purchased her winning LOTTO MAX and EXTRA ticket at the Circle K Convenience store located at 102 Hampton Circle in Saskatoon. She won her prize by matching the last six digits of the EXTRA number drawn on Jan. 21 – 4221367.
