SASKATOON — Officers on patrol arrested a 24-year-old man, who is now facing multiple charges after allegedly stabbing three people over the weekend.

Saskatoon Police Service, on Saturday, received a report of a stabbing incident at a nightclub in the 200 block of 3rd Avenue South.

Responding police officers, upon arrival, saw three persons who appeared to be suffering from stab wounds. Two were transported to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect was identified and located in a short distance away.

As officers approached the suspect, he was observed to discard what they later learned was a loaded firearm.

Upon his arrest, he was found in possession of cocaine, two cell phones, a large sum of cash, and a knife.

The man is charged with Aggravated Assault (x2), Possession of a Dangerous Weapon, Carry Concealed Weapon, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine, Possession of Proceeds of Crime, Possession of a Restricted Firearm with Ammunition.
