The Sturgis Elementary students performed A Night of Christmas to a full gymnasium at the Sturgis Composite High School on December 14.
Brad Cameron, principal, was the master of ceremonies for the evening.
“The staff and students have been working hard and are pleased to bring you a little bit of Christmas,” Cameron said.
Val Hallick was the pianist who accompanied the students in their musical performances.
The Grade 1 class performed Frosty the Snowman. Students participating were: Kelmer Albarracin, Bella Alblas, Jesse Beatty, Connor Burym, Rylee Coleman, Erl Dela Torre, Phoenix Galay, Ocean Hitchens, Chloe Jansen, Makayla Johnson, Avery Masley, Ripley Prestie, Autumn Rose, Amrie Seerey, Darian Serdachny and Easten Seversen.
The grades 1 and 2 students performed an dance to a Jingle Bells remix.
The Grade 2 students performed Coming Down the Chimney. Students who participated were: Brea Babiarz, Tristen Beatty, Jake Fedorchuk, Layla Jaeb, Karter Johnson, Emma Olson, Jake Palaniuk, Trae Peterson, Riley Wiwcharuk and Mia Wolfe.
The Grade 4 and Grade 5 students performed Carol of the Bells. Students who participated were: Kimmuel Albarracin, Mason Babiuk, Ava Bartch, Jordyn Blanchard, Connor Borus, Natalie Gregory, Shaylyn Karcha, Nickolas Kucharyshen, Cole Masley, Tyra Reynolds, Nevaeh Rudachyk, Cole Secundiak, Daemian Schotts, Avery Seversen, Lucas Alblas, Nathan Anaka, Aric Bartch, Jayden Fedorchuk, Peyton Fullawka, Jainylle Gagnon, Coby Head, Mollie Jaeb, Bailey Kozmeniuk, Xage Miraflor, Bailey Peterson and Cyrus Stittle.
The Kindergarten class performed Santa Claus is Coming to Town. Students who participated were: Caeleb Anaka, Allie Babiuk, Katie Boucher, Levi Coleman, Paige Galiz, Alex Hotomoni, Andreanna Jatico, Tera Nelson-Remenda, Morgan Olson, Zaiden Rudachyk, Mason Stoudt and Elissa Redditt.
The Grade 3 class performed Up on the Housetop and I’m Dreaming of White Christmas. Students who participated were: Karley Buchinski, Tyson Fedorchuk, Tannis Fullawka, Myrandah Gagnon, Xerxes Galay, Tiernan Karcha, Bracyn Konkel, Savannah Olson, Cole Palaniuk, Cheyenne Peterson, Parker Ryczak, Avyn Seerey, Justice Stittle, Drei Lance Terrenal, Terry Toews, Kiya Tucker and Elle Wiebe.
The Kindergarten to Grade 5 students performed the nativity scene that featured the songs O Little Town of Bethlehem, Little Donkey, Away in the Manager, Silent Night and We wish You a Merry Christmas.
