Tuesday evening at 7:00 P.M. and the Village of MacNutt called its regularly scheduled meeting to order with a report from Shane Wagner, the village's waterworks employee.

Wagner discussed with the council the workings of the water plant and what should be looked into to help upgrade the water system. There is a reminder to residents that the village is still on a boil water advisory until further notice.

Carrying on, the council approved the agenda, the minutes of the previous meeting as well as the special budget.

The council moved onto correspondence which included a motion for the administration to attend a webinar in the office on a non-work day.

The council decided to look into what would be best to apply the MEEP funding and what water treatment plant upgrades would cost. The decision was tabled until the next meeting.

The council then read several emails from a concerned ratepayer. These included such concerns as the library being open during the pandemic, a request for further information on the Tax Enforcement Notice, a lot amalgamation, and information regarding bylaw 0902. The council had a discussion on the correspondence received.

The May 2020 financials, as well as the payables, were reviewed and passed by the council.

Under new business, the council discussed the tender for grass. There were two tenders received and it was awarded to Chelsea Rowen, pending acceptance of job requirements.

The village of the council will be issuing a fire ban until further notice.
