The novel coronavirus is causing an unprecedented crisis - a global shock that will be remembered for many lifetimes to come. To collect this history as it occurs, the WDM has launched an online exhibition, Saskatchewan Views the Global Pandemic at saskviews.ca. This crowd-sourced photograph exhibit focuses on how the Covid-19 outbreak is affecting individuals, families, communities and the province.
From the impact of self-isolation and social distancing, to changes in the way we work, communicate and care for each other, the implications of this crisis are far reaching. The WDM wants to make these impacts visible by sharing people's experiences through their photos and stories.
The public is asked to contribute photos and captions that illustrate their experiences of Covid-19. These stories will help document the impact of the pandemic in Saskatchewan
"We want to see peoples' photographs of the ways the COVID-19 outbreak has affected them, their family, their community and Saskatchewan as a whole," said Diana Savage, Exhibits Manager. "From the impact of self-isolation and social distancing, to changes in the way we work, communicate and care for each other, the implications of this crisis are far reaching."
Help the WDM record this moment in history by contributing to Saskatchewan Views the Global Pandemic online. The WDM would like to see photographs from as many people and places as possible. Visit saskviews.ca to share your Saskatchewan story.
