On World Mental Health Day (Oct. 10) over 150 people gathered at the Medicine Shoppe to support people with mental health issues and raise money for the walk-in counselling clinic at SIGN. Those walkers included players from the Yorkton Terriers and the Yorkton Raider Gridders. The walk raised just under $1,000 for the clinic, with a $500 donation from the Medicine Shoppe and the rest coming from donations. “We were blown away by the support,” said Andrew Sedley, executive director of SIGN.
