Tyler Harasymuk puts the pressure on the Cougar quarterback during the opening game of a triple bill of Regina Minor Football League games at Kinsmen Century Field.

The Yorkton Atoms, Pee Wees and Yorkton Regional High School Junior football teams all combined for a triple bill Sunday at the Kinsmen Century Field on Sunday.

It marked the first slate of home games for the three local clubs who help make up the Regina Minor Football League (RMFL).

It is that time of year again.

Football this and football that, taking place at what is supposedly the best playing field in the RMFL. First up was the second season for the Atom football Gridders, led by Jason Boyda.

They hosted the Regina Cougars.

What was Boyda expecting for their 2012 RMFL home opener.

"Well, not too much," Boyda says after the game, a 41-14 victory for the visiting Regina Cougars.

Given the young age of the players, Boyda opted to go with the cliche' of leaving everything out on the field.

He says he's more concerned that everybody is giving it their 'all' for all four quarters of the football game.

"If we get four full quarters out of them, that's all we can ask," insists Boyda.
