The bantam Terriers outlasted the Battlefords Barons by an 8-7 goal margin over the weekend.

Game one finished in a 2-1 Yorkton win.

Game two ended in a 6-6 tie giving Yorkton the 8-7 goal advantage and the win.

"We really wanted to win this game," offered head coach Ryan Arnold after the series was over.

Repair crews would have a little more work to do at the Kinsmen Arena now after Yorkton scored six times.

"They stepped it up. They bought into the team philosophy," Arnold told the media.

He wishes to thank Yorkton Minor Hockey for the free ice time during the evaluation camp.
