Curlers in Outlook got together on Monday, March 20 at the curling club at the Jim Kook Rec Plex for the annual mini-tournament to claim the Leonard Bell Memorial Trophy. In the end, after having to play an extra end to determine the winners, the winning rink was comprised of Evelyn Johnson, Joanne Deschamps (subbing for Barb Robertson), Ian Robertson, and Sandy Pederson, and the team proudly held the memorial trophy after the curling action had ended. Afterward, everyone gathered upstairs in the lounge to help celebrate curling club member Roger Pederson’s birthday, with cake and coffee being served.
