Bomboir faces 56 shots on Sunday

In the opening period alone, they had four shots on goal and two of them went in. Yorkton was outshot 48-16 throughout three periods but won the game 3-2 in overtime.

Their season now concludes over the long weekend when they visit Prince Albert for a pair of games Saturday and Sunday.

The five goals in Regina all came at even strength.

Lynnden Pastachak and Tanner Lesann scored in the opening period for Yorkton.

Tristan Frei got one back for Regina.

Frei added his second goal late in the second period.

The teams played a scoreless third frame, sending the game into overtime.

Lesann scored his 17th goal of the season into an empty net to give the Harvest the win.

His assist earlier in the game was his 25th of the season for 42 points on the year heading into the season finale in Prince Albert over the weekend.

The win at Regina would turn out to be their last of the season as they closed out with two games in Prince Albert.

The Harvest were handed one of their worst losses of the season in their next game, Feb. 18 at the Art Hauser Centre Arena in Prince Albert.

The Mintos opened the scoring 5:06 when Regan Wilton tallied early in the game and went on to add five more goals in the second period; three game with Harvest skaters in the penalty box.

Nine different skaters went on to score for Prince Albert, with only two players scoring more than once.

The two teams met up for a second straight night and it was Yorkton's last game of the season. They shut down the Mintos' offence more than they did in Saturday's game.

Prince Albert still managed a 4-1 win, they also managed a 56-14 advantage shots on goal department. They had 13 power play opportunities and scored two goals.

Prince Albert scored twice and then Yorkton got their first goal in two games against the Mintos when Dakota Odgers tallied at 8:40 of the middle frame. Brayden Park and Blake McMillen got the assists on the last Yorkton goal of the season.

Spencer Bomboir finished the game having faced 56 shots on net. He stopped 52.

Prince Albert's Tanner Burgardt faced 14 in the win.
