Canora Cougars play close game against Preeceville Panthers

The Canora Composite School junior football team played its first game of the season in Canora against the Preeceville Panthers on September 19. The team managed to keep up with the Preeceville players but unfortunately lost by a score of 12-14.

            The Canora Composite School junior football team played its first game of the season in Canora against the Preeceville Panthers on September 19.

            The team managed to keep up with the Preeceville players but unfortunately lost by a score of 12-14.

            Kim Eiteneier, coach for the team, said that both teams scored twice, but Preeceville managed to pull ahead by converting on one of two opportunities.

            Touchdowns for the Canora Cougars were made by Jacob Gulka and Alden Baron.
