Community passion the key for Kraft Hockeyville

With a mission to inspire more communities to share their pride in Canada's favourite sport, the Kraft Hockeyville partners, including Kraft Canada, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, the National Hockey League and the National Hockey League Players Association, unveiled an expanded search to determine the most hockey connected community in Canada.

The new cross-country campaign includes five additional finalists community spots as well as an early-bird prize of $10,000 worth of hockey equipment from Kraft Canada for a local minor hockey association.

Online activities, including uploading stories, pictures and other community related tasks, all can be found at www.krafthockeyville.ca.

There are five virtual trophies to collect in total. According to Kraft Canada, the deadline for nominations is set on Jan. 30.

In order to enter Kraft Hockeyville 2012, Canadians must register online and complete a simple application form as well as submit a story that focuses on originality, community spirit and passion for the game of hockey. Maximum length is 4,000 characters.
