YORKTON - It was the final action of 2023 at Yellowhead International Speedway in Yorkton as the stock hit the dirt track over the weekend.
The results from the races at the Speedway from August 19 include:
Heat 1 - first: 10 Brian Matkowski, second:11 Neil Matkowski, third: 8 George Musqua
Heat 2 - first: 10 Brian Matkowski, second:11 Neil Matkowski, third: 8 George Musqua
Heat 3 - first: 10 Brian Matkowski, second:11 Neil Matkowski, third: 8 George Musqua
Feature - first: 11 Neil Matkowski, second: 10 Brian Matkowski, third: 8 George Musqua
August 20
Heat 1 - first: 10 Brian Matkowski, second: 8 George Musqua, third: 11 Neil Matkowski

The weekend races concluded the Yellowhead racing season for 2023.
There is one final event at the raceway however, a demolition derby Sept. 9, at 2 p.m.
Action in the Prairie Dirt Racing Association tour is still happening. The next stop is Tisdale Motor Speedway Sept 2 and 3, with Kindersley and Outlook in September and October.
