PORCUPINE PLAIN - The Eastern Professional Chariot and Chuckwagon Association raced in Porcupine Plain this past weekend.

Chariots ran Saturday but rain forced cancellation of the chuckwagons.

Sunday both chariots and chuckwagons raced. 

“The competition on the weekend was great,” said ECCPA secretary Chelsey Tasa. “The top 24 chariots on Saturday were separated by only 3.6 seconds and on Sunday by only 2.3 seconds. “The top 24 Wagons were separated by only three seconds.”

2nd Casey Peterson - Kelvongton

3rd /4th Brandee Braaten - Naicam and Carol Hooge - Hudson Bay

5th Crystal Drechsler - Nipawin

Chuckwagons overall top 5

1st Casey Peterson - Kelvington

2nd Neil Salmond - Weekes

3rd Larry Salmond - Weekes

4th Wayne Salmond - Weekes

5th Jody Drechsler - Nipawin

The Top Junior Driver award went to Kain Salmond from Weekes

Best-dressed chariot was Justin Long and best dressed chuckwagon was Ryan Peterson.
