SMX Racing is pleased to announce theta Yamalube has joined them for the 2011 CMRC Canadian National race season and will be known as Team Yamalube Schrader's SMX Racing.

"With the addition of Yamalube supporting us this season and the never-ending and tireless work of Rick Bradshaw of Schrader's Yamaha in Yorkton, we are able to bring SMX Racing into the prestigious realm of factory racing, said owner/manager Jackie Maffenbeier.

Part of Yamalube Schrader's SMX racing for this year is Shawn Maffenbeier of Swift Current and Denaye Giroux of Yorkton. "Giroux will be back to challenge in the Women's National series aboard her Yamaha 250F," says Jackie and Randy Maffenbeier, though a press release issued to the newspaper.

"We're very excited that Denaye is back with us again this season," it continues. "She has spent some time in California this season and is already competing in the Saskatchewan Provincial Series successfully."

Giroux finished second overall in the CMRC Women's Western division and eighth overall in the Women's 2010 National Series.

Says Giroux: "After a disappointing end to the season last year due to injury, I'm especially determined to be better and stronger (this year) as I go for my goal of the number-1 plate."

She adds:"Having the continued support of a premier team such as the Yamalube Schrader's SMX Racing team makes it easier for me to concentrate on my job."
