The Prince Albert Mintos badly outshot the Yorkton Harvest but could not out score them.

For the second time in two weeks, regulation time ended with a mad scramble in front of the opposition's net. The first time it happened, Yorkton could not manage to tie the game against Notre Dame.

Over the weekend, with one minute left in the third, Lynnden Pastachak managed to tie the game at 3-3 and force overtime.

"Those were two big goals," said Pastachak following the game.

His second of which tied the game and he scored his first earlier to help give his team a 2-0 lead.

He added that it was great to get a point against one of the teams that are consistently in the top four in the league standings.

"I don't know," he said when asked what happened on Hockey Day in Melville Saturday (a 7-0 blowout). We just didn't come out to play.today we proved we could actually play with these guys."

Prince Albert totalled 20 shots on goal in the second period but only score twice. Yorkton had eight shots and scored once.

They went on to send the game into overtime in the final minute when Pastachak scored which tied the game up at 3-3.

Jeff Odgers, Yorkton head coach, said that compared to the two games (Saturday in Melville and Sunday in Yorkton), he didn't know what the difference was but in Yorkton,

Yorkton had a two-goal lead.

Then they trailed, then they tied it.

"I'm not sure what it was," referring to a 7-0 loss they were handed at the Melville Communiplex, a neutral-site game held in conjunction with Hockey Day In Saskatchewan.

"It was a big crowd," said Pastachak.

However it didn't do much for the Harvest, as they gave up three in the first and two goals in each of the last two periods.

Yorkton managed only 12 shots on goal in the game
