The Kamsack Comprehensive Institute junior boys and girls curling teams returned home from the junior district bonspiel in Yorkton on January 27 and 28 with gold and bronze medals.
The girls team, comprised of Kira Kitsch, Sadie McGriskin, Chloe Koroluk and Anna Schwartz played three Yorkton teams and the Saltcoats team, and ended up in third place with the bronze medal.
The boys team, comprised of Zach Zbeetnoff, Conner Bodnarek, Zach Chernoff and Curtis McGriskin, defeated teams from Saltcoats, Preeceville and Yorkton to win the gold medal.
Scott Tulloch is the coach of both teams and Barb Tetoff, the manager.
