The team now known as the Midget AA Yorkton Kinsmen Terriers is going to go through its second huge makeover in as many years, says former team head coach Dan Cross.

The team that finished first place overall in the South Saskatchewan Minor Hockey League standings throughout the regular season and advanced to the league finals is going to have a much different look to it this season.

The team's leading scorer Ryley Stefanyshyn was signed on by the AAA Yorkton Harvest, and Cross himself is switching to coaching the girls' game, he told Yorkton This Week. He will be behind the bench for the AAA Melville Prairie Fire.

They went through a similar transformation at the conclusion of last season.

Graduating from the AA ranks are goaltender Adam Stokes, team captain Ledyn Ruf, Chad Fogg, Dustin Leppington, Brett Bashutski, Kyle Yaremchuk, Colby Onslow, Terence Shewchuk, Jordyn Cross and Shadoe Konan.

On top of that, the entire captain squad, including Ruf and all three assistant captains are included in the list above.

The team finished last season with a record of 26-3-7 for 59 points, two above second-place Lumsden.
