Panthers record second win for the season

The Preeceville Panthers recorded their second win for the season on October 1 when they downed Watson with a final score of 62-8 in an away game. “The team put in a better effort and came away with a huge win,” said Jeremy Mattison, coach.

The Preeceville Panthers football team has regular practices, but it is the hard work that is making a huge difference in the team’s season. The team defeated Watson 62-8 in Watson on October 1.

The Preeceville Panthers recorded their second win for the season on October 1 when they downed Watson with a final score of 62-8 in an away game.

“The team put in a better effort and came away with a huge win,” said Jeremy Mattison, coach. “Sean Paligan had a great game by scoring six touch-downs. For a grade 9 student that is a huge undertaking.

Noah Tonn and Spencer King also scored one touchdown each.

“This game had us going back to the basics,” he said. “We played hard with a intensity to win. All the hard work and practice paid off as the team is looking looking great and ready to put more wins in the win column.

The Panthers did suffer a loss against Wynyard on September 25 but regrouped to play harder as a team.

The Panthers’ next game will be on October 8 against Wynyard.
